Shri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated with pomp in Gorakhpur this year. The preparations for the birth anniversary of Shri Krishna have been completed. At all places including Geeta Vatika, Gopal Mandir, Jalkal, Police Line and GRP, beautiful tableaux of Shri Krishna’s birth are ready. After the birth of Lord Krishna at midnight at homes and public places… Anand ke Anand Bhayo, Jai Kanhaiya Lal ki will reverberate. The program will end with the distribution of Prasad.
CM will not attend Gorakhnath temple program
At the same time, on Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Krishna will be celebrated with reverence and gaiety in Gorakhnath temple on Friday. However, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will not be able to attend this program.
Yogi Kamal Nath, the head priest of the temple and Acharya Ramanuj Tripathi, the priest of the temple, along with the temple family will worship Shri Krishna’s birth anniversary and make him swing with the devotees. On the other hand, Gorakshpeethadhishwar Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the birth anniversary of Shri Krishna in Mathura.
In the evening there will be bhajan-kirtan
Before midnight, before the birth anniversary program of Lord Shri Krishna, a program of traditional Lord Shri Krishna form decoration will be organized from 6 pm to 7 pm on Friday. From 7 pm onwards, the process of Bhajan Kirtan will start which will continue till 12 pm.
Program coordinator Rakesh Srivastava, member of Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi, told that small children do not stay awake for long. Therefore, this program will be held from 6 to 7 pm this time.
Shri Krishna Roop Decoration Competition will be held in Gorakhnath temple
Vinay Gautam, the media in-charge of the temple told that the decoration of Shri Krishna Roop will be organized in two sections. In the first class, children from 6 months to 5 years will compete in the Kanha category and in the second class, the Gopal class will be held for the children from 5 years to 8 years. Children will participate in the competition in the form of Krishna. All children will be rewarded. Registration for the competition will also be done on the spot.
