Punjab Congress leader Navjot Sidhu has got a big relief. The Chandigarh Court has dismissed the defamation case filed against him. The case was filed by DSP Dilsher Chandel of Chandigarh Police. However, after that he did not appear in the matter. Navjot Sidhu had made objectionable remarks on the policemen during the assembly elections. Sidhu is currently lodged in Patiala Jail. Where he is serving one year imprisonment in the road rage case.

There was a ruckus over the ‘paint wet’ statement of the policeman
