He had just reached near Jakhara village when three miscreants on a bike who came from behind swooped on and robbed the mangalsutra. Seeing the sister carrying the mangalsutra, Raju chased the miscreants making noise, then the miscreants entered the village of Jakhara and after slipping the bike in the mud, they ran away leaving there. On leaving Jakhara village, the miscreants reached the highway and robbed the bike rider Narendra Parihar, who was coming from the front, robbed his bike and fled while firing.

For the last two days, the police and crime branch team was camping in Gohad in search of miscreants. On Tuesday morning, the police received information from the informer that on the day of Rakshabandhan, one of the miscreants who robbed the siblings has been seen near village Kharaua Sheetla Mata Mandir in Bhind district. The police immediately formed a team to nab the miscreant on the information of the informer, the team surrounded the informer’s place and caught the miscreant. On interrogation, the arrested miscreant has given his name to Anish Gurjar resident of Banke, a resident of Gohad. The arrested miscreant told that the gold and bike shells looted from the siblings are hidden in a rented house in Narayan Bihar of the temple area. On the behest of the miscreant, the police have recovered the gold mangalsutra, chain and bike looted from the siblings.
