Married Rajni alias Radha was murdered in village Bidhlan of Sonipat district of Haryana. The body of the deceased was found lying near Sheetla Mata temple in the village. Police station Kharkhoda has started investigation by registering a case of section 302/34 against her husband on the statement of the uncle captain. The body was handed over to the heirs after post-mortem.

It has been told that Rajni alias Radha (23), a resident of Raipuraphool, Bathinda, was married to Bijendra alias Kala in village Bidhlan of Sonipat. On Tuesday, his family got information that Rajni had died. Rajni’s mother Mandeep Kaur then reached village Bidhlan with her brother Kaptan and other relatives resident of Deva Muklan village of Hisar. After information, Kharkhoda police also reached the spot and found Rajni’s body lying near Sheetla Mata temple of village Bidhlan. He had marks of injury.

Rajni’s maternal uncle, Kaptan, in a complaint to the police, alleged that her daughter was murdered by her husband Bijendra alias Kala. Along with this, the family has also expressed suspicion of Bijendra’s niece, who is married in village Gijji, of being involved in Rajni’s murder. Police have gathered evidence related to the incident with FSL at the spot.

SI Arun Kumar of Police Station Kharkhoda said that it was reported that the dead body of a woman was lying near the Sheetla Mata temple. They reached the spot along with the team and after identifying the deceased, informed his family members about the incident. The body was sent to Sonepat Hospital for post-mortem. The investigating officer said that the police have registered a case of murder against the deceased Rajni’s husband Bijendra alias Kala and his niece Pooja under sections 302 and 34.
