Now the Ministry of Railways has given information about the work of bullet train between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. The ministry has told how much work could be done for this project and by when it can be completed.

Know how much work is done
The Railways has informed that about 98.8 percent of the land acquisition work for this high rail project has been completed. With this, the work of piling has been completed in the 162 km long route. Along with this, the work of ghat up to 79.2 km has also been completed. Along with this, the work of passenger terminal hub of Sabarmati for this project is also nearing completion.

Know project details
Let us tell you that the distance of this entire high speed rail project is 508.17 km. This rail route includes Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Kheda and Ahmedabad of Gujarat. At the same time, it also includes Mumbai, Thane and Palghar of Maharashtra. There will be 12 railway stations in this entire project which includes 8 stations in Gujarat and 4 in Maharashtra. The journey between Mumbai and Ahmedabad will be completed in just 2.58 hours by bullet train. The speed of the bullet train will be around 320 kilometers per hour.

When did the project start
The first project of bullet train in the country has been started by the Modi government in the year 2017. This is one of the most ambitious schemes of the central government. The foundation stone of this project was laid on 14 September 217 by the Prime Minister of the country. Narendra Modi (PM Modi) and Shinzo Abe, the then Prime Minister of Japan. This project is worth Rs 1.10 lakh crore.
