Protest in Sagar against the attack on District CEO in Rewa: Demand to arrest the accused of the incident in 24 hours, if not, warning of going on collective leave

Officers and employees reached the collector’s office regarding the demands.

The Chief Executive Officer’s union demonstrated in Sagar on Thursday in protest against the fatal attack on Sirmaur District Panchayat CEO SK Mishra of Rewa district. He has demanded the arrest of all the accused who attacked the district CEO in 24 hours. The union officials submitted a memorandum to Collector Deepak Arya and District Panchayat CEO Kshitij Singhal regarding their demands.

In the memorandum, it was said that after the incident in Rewa, the government officials and employees were horrified. Because such incidents have happened in the past also. The Chief Executive Officer should be given protection in view of the incidents. Many times the issue was raised in front of the government regarding the demand for security. But till now no attention has been paid. The officials who came to hand over the memorandum said that the accused in the incident should be arrested within 24 hours.

Named FIR should be made against all the accused involved in the conspiracy of the incident. Otherwise, all the officers and employees of Panchayat and Rural Development Department will be on collective leave. Chief Executive Officer of the union Sanjay Singh said that a memorandum has been submitted regarding the demands. Strict action should be taken against the culprits.
