Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the country’s largest 2400-bed Amrita Hospital and Research Center, which has been completed in Sector-88 of Greater Faridabad, on August 24. World-class medical facilities will be available to the patients in this state-of-the-art hospital, built in about 133 acres. This hospital is the largest hospital in the private sector. In this, the poor will also be treated through the trust at a reasonable rate.

64 world class operation theaters have been built here. Specialist doctors of 81 serious diseases will treat the patients here. Robots will also have the facility of operation in the hospital. From August 25, the hospital will start running in the first phase. Preparations for this are going on on a war footing.

The entire hospital will be paperless:

Dr. Santosh K Singh, Resident Medical Director of the hospital told reporters that Amrita Hospital would be completely paperless. That is, everything from seeing doctors to test reports will be online. The patient will not have to run here and there after taking the sample. After giving the sample, it will reach the lab automatically. From there the report will be prepared and will reach the concerned doctor.

534 critical care beds have been arranged,

Dr. Singh said that this is the first hospital in the country with 534 critical care unit beds. Apart from this, nine cath labs with advanced technology have also been set up. Apart from this, advanced counseling centre, command and control centre, satellite nursing centre, ten bunkers have been built. Entire one block is reserved for mother and child care. Monitoring of the entire hospital will be done digitally. Modern technologies of the world will be used in this hospital.

Emphasis on medical education and research:

Dr. Singh told that the focus of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi is on medical education and research here. Therefore, arrangements have also been made to provide 240 hours of value-based education to the medical students (Graduate and PG) studying medicine in the Research Center of Amrita Hospital. He told that research will also be done on every serious diseases in the research center of the hospital. A seven-storey building has been built for research in Amrita Hospital. It will have specific grade A to D GMP labs with focus on latest diagnostic markers, AL, ML bioinformatics etc. He said that we are also discussing cooperation in research with some of the world’s largest hospitals and universities in the field of medical science.

14-storey built hospital:

Principal Advisor and Executive Director of the hospital Satyanand Mishra said that the 14-storey Amrita Hospital, prepared by Mata Amritanandamayi Math, has been built in an area of ​​more than one crore square feet. He said that 81 specialties including Mother and Child Care, Oncology, Cardiac, Neuro, Gastro, Renal, Bone Disease, Trauma, Transplant have been established in Amrita Hospital. Apart from this, the country’s largest department has been created for infectious diseases. Here, not only the whole of India but patients from all over the world will be provided medical treatment.

Arm transplant facility will also be there:

Resident Director Dr. Singh told that we have done double hand and upper arm transplant in Kochi. Such transplant facility will also be available in Faridabad. Apart from this, transplantation of liver, kidney, trachea, vocal cord, intestine, heart, lung, pancreas, skin, bone, face and bone marrow will also be done here. He said that a helipad has also been built in the hospital premises for speedy transportation of patients. Apart from this, there is also a guest house with 498 rooms where attendants of patients can stay. The hospital will be operational in phases, starting from August 25 with 500 beds. This number will increase to 750 in two years and 1000 beds in five years. When fully operational, the hospital will have a staff of 10,000 people including 800 doctors. In-charge of the hospital Swami Nizamritanand Puri and local MLA Rajesh Nagar were also present in the press conference.
