The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) of Ludhiana got a new Vice Chancellor on Friday. The Bhagwant government has appointed Dr. SS Gosal as the new Vice Chancellor of PAU. The management of the university was also facing problems due to the absence of the vice-chancellor.
A few days ago, applications were invited for the post of VC from the Punjab Government. Let us tell you that till now the responsibility of acting VC in PAU was being fulfilled by DK Tiwari. Earlier, Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon was appointed as VC.

Dhillon’s term ended on 30 June 2021. Even after more than 11 months, the post was not posted. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann gave this information by tweeting on Twitter and congratulated the new Vice Chancellor. Dr. SS Gosal has been a former director and member of Anusandhan Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana.
