Manchester United are expected to announce their fourth summer signing in the next 48 hours, according to Marca.
The Red Devils have already landed the services of Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez this summer.
They have now sealed an agreement to sign Casemiro from Real Madrid, and the same has been confirmed by Carlo Ancelotti.
The Brazilian has been given permission to travel to Manchester, and he could be formally announced before the end of Sunday.
Casemiro, however, won’t be available to face Liverpool on Monday night as the cut-off time for registration was today 12pm.
Regardless of this, United fans should be delighted with the acquisition of the 30-year-old, who is a genuine match-winner.
The former Porto man is regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in world football and could transform United’s fortunes.
He could line up alongside Fred in the centre of the park, having done so regularly with the national team over the years.
