Cylinder blast took place in Gali No 7 of Gandhi Nagar in Ludhiana, Punjab today. The explosion was so strong that even the nearby people came out of their homes. The blast happened on the third floor of the house. It is being told that 2 cylinders are torn in the house. Immediately after the explosion people informed the police and fire brigade. People themselves arranged water from the roofs of the house to extinguish the fire. It is being told that in the house where the cylinder is torn, about 7 to 8 tenants live in the rooms.
The torn cylinder was taken out of the house by the fire brigade.
Today two tenants living on the third floor came to the dining room at noon. It is suspected that the cylinder was left open in the room. There was a compressor of AC nearby.
As soon as the flames rose in the room, the pressure of the AC also exploded. Landlord Madan Lal was called to the spot by the police and got information.

The fire broke out on the third floor after the cylinder exploded. The fire destroyed all the belongings in the room. At the same time, two water tanks on the roof of the house also exploded. People called Radha Rani, the owner of the room where the fire broke out, who used to work in a factory. All the belongings of Radha’s house were burnt to ashes. Radha’s family is in weeping bad condition.
It is being told that about 12 to 13 more cylinders were lying in the house where this accident happened. Fire brigade personnel reached the spot and brought the situation under control. The people of the area say that there were 2 to 3 explosions from the house continuously. Some part of the roof hit the head of a young man standing below, but he is slightly injured.

Police Division No. 4 in-charge Gurjit Singh, who reached the spot, said that it has been learned that two cylinders have been torn. People living in the house are also being questioned. The landlord has been called there. The fire brigade reached the spot and normalized the situation.
