World Class to become Punjab’s largest civil hospital Jalandhar: Mumbai’s architects will design, international development agency will fund

Punjab’s largest civil hospital Jalandhar will soon become a world class. In this, all the facilities to the patients will also be world class. The exercise to make Civil Hospital Jalandhar world class has started. The architect team from Mumbai and officials of International Development Agency as well as health department officials visited the hospital today.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Raman Sharma and Medical Superintendent Dr. Rajeev Sharma held a meeting with team members Bobby Mukherjee and Gurmeet Sachdev from Mumbai on Wednesday morning at MAA office. The team of International Development Agency proposed to Dr. Raman and Dr. Rajeev to make 100 bed critical blocks separately.

Let us inform that in Jalandhar, the largest civil hospital of Punjab, from 1500 to 200 patients come daily. While 400-500 patients are routinely hospitalized. Civil Surgeon Dr. Raman Sharma said that the people of Jalandhar would be greatly benefited by this initiative by getting better health services.
