Radha Devi, a resident of Parakham village of Mathura Farah police station area, reached Mathura with her family members by Achhnera Kasganj passenger train. Radha slept with family members on platform number 9 of Mathura Junction as it was late at night. Meanwhile, around 4.25 am, a middle-aged man stole his 6-month-old infant who was sleeping near him. This incident of child theft was caught in the CCTV camera.

With the incident of child theft, questions arose about the security at the railway station. The child theft incident was taken as a challenge by the Railway Police and to uncover the incident, CCTV cameras were checked every way from the station to where the middle-aged man had taken the child. Railway police sources say that they saw the recordings of more than 200 CCTV cameras, besides searching for the accused of child theft in Mathura, Agra, Hathras, Kasganj, Badaun.
