Stock Market Closing On 4th October 2022: Tuesday has been a very auspicious day for the Indian stock market. Due to the boom in the stock markets around the world, the Indian stock market remained bullish since morning. The Mumbai Stock Exchange’s index Sensex closed at 58,065 with a gain of 1276 points at the end of trading due to investors’ buying, while the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 17,274 points with a gain of 386 points. Sensex has been successful in crossing 58,000 and Nifty 17,000. The stock exchange will remain closed on Wednesday due to the festival of Dashami.
Sector’s condition
The stock market made a great comeback today after yesterday’s big fall. And in today’s trading session, the shares of all the sectors closed with great momentum. Bank Nifty closed with a gain of 2.84 percent i.e. 1080 points. Nifty IT index closed 2.87 percent, Nifty FMCG rose 1.86 percent. Auto, metals, energy, consumer durables sectors also saw a huge rise in stocks. There was buying in small cap and mid cap stocks. Of the 50 stocks of Nifty, only 48 shares rose and 2 shares closed in the red mark. Of the 30 stocks of the Sensex, 28 stocks were buying while 2 shares closed down.
