In the coming days, questions are being raised on the process of PhD admission of Banaras Hindu University and RET ie Research Entrance Test. Whenever there is a PhD result and the students who are not selected in it, they sit on dharna for several days by locking the department. Teaching in the department gets interrupted. This is what has been happening on campus for the past several days. Students are furious alleging rigging in PhD admissions. From time to time they are protesting and protesting. The BHU administration has now swung into action regarding this.

BHU Vice Chancellor Professor Sudhir Kumar Jain has constituted a 5-member fact finding committee. This committee will investigate the allegations of rigging by students in PhD admissions. The committee has been asked to submit your recommendations at the earliest. The investigation covers the PhD admission process of 4 departments of BHU, which will be scrutinized by the committee.

What is the reason for the allegations against the department

The committee will find out what is the reason behind the allegations against the departments, professors and employees of BHU. A notification has also been issued by the Registrar’s Office.

The committee has been directed to resolve the dissatisfaction among the students regarding PhD admission (RET/RET accepted) in the Department of Hindi, Social Science, Geography, Ancient History and Archeology of BHU. The convenor of the committee is Prof. Biochemistry. S Srikrishna has been created. At the same time, RK Murali of Faculty of Law, Prof. Philosophy as members. SC Dubey, Prof. from History. Tabir Kalam and Assistant Registrar of CE Office have been given the responsibility of Secretary Member.

Students were sitting on hunger strike

Students have been sitting on hunger strike outside the Hindi department for several days. There is also a student in this, whose health had deteriorated yesterday. During this, the ambulance stood outside the Hindi department for a long time. At the same time, in the Faculty of Social Sciences, a few days ago there was a sit-in demonstration by the students of Sociology.
