Road accidents on the rise in Pakistan
Road accidents happen frequently in Pakistan. Mainly due to poorly maintained vehicles, dilapidated roads and negligence of road safety measures. In recent days, due to heavy rains in northern Pakistan, there has been a sharp increase in road accidents. Five days ago, a bus and an oil tanker collided in Pakistan. At least 20 people have died in this road accident. At the same time, in November last year, a bus had fallen into a gorge in an area of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), killing 22 passengers.
