In Aligarh, land is being allotted by the administration to the industrialists investing in the Defense Corridor scheme. But after the allotment of the land, permission is not being given to start the construction work in it. This is happening due to lack of documents.

This problem was placed before the District Magistrate Inder Vikram Singh. The DM held a meeting with the officials and industrialists to know the progress of the ambitious scheme of the central government. In which it was told that so far 21 investors have been allotted land. Whereas only two have got permission to start construction work in it.

Permission stopped due to incomplete records

Joint Commissioner Industries Virendra Kumar was informed that action is also being taken to allow construction of 21 investors who have been allotted land in the Defense Corridor. But only two units have been able to provide the required documents.

Whereas the application was made with half-incomplete records on behalf of the other units that got the allotment of land. Due to which his permission has been stopped. After which he was instructed that the whole process should be completed soon and this work should be completed expeditiously.

Major road and power house construction completed

Officials said that the construction of the main road in the Defense Corridor has been completed. Along with this 33 KVA power sub station has also been established here. Right now the high tension line going over the Defense Corridor is to be displaced. Soon its work will be started.

The amount for the replacement of high tension lines has been deposited by UPEDA to the Electricity Department. For this, the officials of the electricity department have asked for one month’s time. After which the DM instructed that there should not be any negligence in this work and it should be completed as soon as possible.

Along with this, the officials and industrialists present in the meeting discussed various things. Industrialist Dhanjit Vadra, Joint Magistrate M. Joshi, Mohammad Tabish, Tarun Saxena, Chandan Aggarwal, Akash Agarwal, VP Bansal, Navdeep Kumar Varshney, Rohit Agarwal, Abhishek Jindal and other departments including electricity, pollution control board were present in the meeting.
