Monitoring of health services will be done at block level: Government order, health department officers will go out in the field instead of office

Efforts are being made to provide better health services to the patients in government hospitals.

The monitoring of health services in the state will be done by the state government at the ground level. For this, special responsibility was given to the officers of the Health Department. In all the development blocks of the state, the ACMO or Deputy CMO will be given the responsibility of each block. If there is any health related inconvenience in that block, then the ACMO or Deputy CMO nominated will be responsible for it. On behalf of Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad, the Chief Medical Officers of all the districts have been directed by sending letters for this. It has also been said that by August 24, the list of nodal officers posted at the block level should be sent to the government.

Patients get better treatment in government hospitals

Instructions have been given by the Additional Chief Secretary to improve health services. It has been said in the issued letter that instructions have been given to make better arrangements for the presence of health workers, availability of medicines, tests etc. in all health centers and hospitals. On the other hand, the reality is that there are not enough medicines in government hospitals. Doctors say that when there is no medicine in the hospitals, how will the patients be treated better.

Accountability of each staff will be fixed

The doctors posted at the primary and community health centers will be accountable. It will be the responsibility of the Block MOICs that the CHCs and PHCs under them should work regularly and patients get better treatment. It will be the responsibility of the doctor posted at the PHC to keep an eye on the health sub center and health wellness center apart from his own PHC, so that the patients can get better treatment.
