Least number of corona cases in Delhi in last 14 days, read- Update of last 24 hours


Delhi Coronavirus News: In the last 24 hours, 689 new cases of corona have been registered in the capital Delhi, while three corona patients also died during this period. In the last 14 days, the lowest number of corona cases have been registered in Delhi on Monday, before that the lowest number of cases (484) were registered on 10 April. Whereas in Delhi on Monday (April 24), the corona positivity rate was more than 29 percent.

Active cases increased beyond 5 thousand

According to the Health Bulletin, out of the three people who died on Monday, the main cause of death of one patient was not corona, while the details of the death of one patient are yet to come. With the new cases, the number of active cases of corona in Delhi has increased to 5011, out of which 371 patients are admitted in hospitals. At the same time, with new deaths, the death toll from Corona in Delhi has increased to 26600. While the number of people infected with Corona has increased to 20,34,061.

According to the information given by the Health Department, there are currently 7974 corona beds in Delhi, out of which 371 beds are currently occupied. On Sunday, 948 cases of corona were reported in Delhi while two people died while 1515 cases of corona were reported in Delhi on Saturday. On the other hand, no health bulletin was issued by the Health Department on Friday. On the other hand, a total of 1603 corona cases were reported in Delhi on Thursday with a positivity rate of 26.75 percent while on Wednesday, 1757 covid cases were found in Delhi with a positivity rate of 28.63 percent.

Delhi is among the top five states in terms of active cases.

In the last 24 hours, about 2300 corona tests were done in Delhi, while 362 infected patients were admitted to the hospital and 3960 patients were sent to home isolation. Presently 5000 cases of corona are active in Delhi. In terms of active cases, Delhi is included in the top 5 states of the country. Apart from Delhi, Kerala, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana are included in these five states.
