History-sheeter Ajay Thakur Arrest: Uproar created by pretending to cut hand with a blade inside the lock-up, FIR against the mother who gave the blade in the lock-up

Kanpur Police arrested vicious criminal history sheeter Ajay Thakur on Saturday evening. The history-sheeter was wanted in the cases registered at Barra, Naubasta and Kidwai Nagar police stations. In the lockup, he tried to cut a vein in his wrist, but the police caught him and got him first aid. An FIR has also been registered against his mother for giving the blade in the lockup.

DCP South Salman Taj Patil said that Ajay Thakur, a history sheeter and vicious criminal of Barra police station, was wanted in different cases from three police stations. He has more than 18 cases of serious nature against him. Kidwai Nagar police station raided and arrested four, including Ajay Thakur, from the house of Vivek Nigam, who was absconding in the Jajmau tannery case. Ajay tried to cut the vein of the wrist in the police station. After first aid, the police again locked him in lockup.

During investigation, it was found that his mother had brought the blade. Due to this, an FIR is also being registered against his mother at Kidwai Nagar police station. Ajay Thakur has been given first aid. Now Ajay and his other three associates will be sent to jail after being produced in the court on Sunday.
