Air India CEO and MD Campbell Wilson has said in a message to all its employees that the salary deduction that is being done will now stop from 1 September 2022. In such a situation, Air India had decided to cut the salary of its employees, which is now being withdrawn in September 2022.
The airline was bought by Tata in January 2022
Air India was bought by Tata Group in January this year. Since then, people are feeling a lot of change in airlines. The company had taken out vacancies for crew members in July, after which members of many other airlines also went on long leaves. IndiGo, the country’s largest airline, had 56 percent of its flights running late on July 2. Prior to that, in the month of June, Air India had offered to re-hire pilots after retirement. This offer was for a period of five years. The airline had taken this decision to stabilize its operations. The airline had sent a consent letter to the pilots who had retired till three years ago.
