Derailed freight train on loop line
A bogie of a goods train derailed in the loop line of Jamnia railway station in Ghazipur district at around quarter to nine. Because of this, many trains got stuck there. Goods train derailed near Zamania station on PDDU Nagar-Patna rail route at 8.50 am. Due to which there was a stir in the department.
Thankfully there was no major train accident. In a hurry, the ART of the railways put the goods train on the track and left the goods train for the destination at around 11.45 am. Because of this, many trains passing through PDDU got stuck there.

The wheels came off just 10 minutes after leaving
The goods train parked on the loop line after carrying railway goods for two days at Zamania station left for Sakaldiha railway station at around 8.44 am. At around 8.55 am, four wheels of the goods train derailed. The driver informed the panel room about this. The incident was reported to the ART (Accident Relief Team) of the railway administration. From PDDU Nagar station reached ART and put the goods train back on track. After this the goods train left for Sakaldiha.

Many trains were stopped here and there
During this, Dadar Gauhati, Memo Passenger, Magadh Express, Barauni Express in Down, Patna Purna in Up, Archana Express, Patna Varanasi MEMU, Himgiri, Patna DDU Memo, Shramjeevi, Mumbai LTT Super Fast, Patna Kota, Danapur Secunderabad, Brahmaputra Mail and Kamakhya Bhagat Ki Kothi train reached its stop station late. The delayed arrival of the trains caused great inconvenience to the passengers.

Station manager gave information
In this regard, Traffic Inspector Sanjay Kumar said that four wheels of the goods train derailed due to technical fault. Inspection instructions have been given. He told that there were a total of 21 bogies in the goods train, but goods were loaded in 18. Several trains were affected due to the incident on the loop line. Station manager Ganesh Singh said that meanwhile there was no stoppage of any train at the local station.
