Feature Article: Appointment of Suraj Bhan as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of NPS Trust

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority has appointed Suraj Bhan as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the NPS Trust with effect from 12 November 2022. He is serving as a Trustee on the Board of NPS Trust since 12 December 2018.

Suraj Bhan joined the Indian Economic Service in 1983. Retired as Director General, Labor Bureau, Chandigarh in January 2018. He has a wide range of experience in the economic policy, trade, industry and finance sectors as well as in Government and Public Sector Undertakings.

He has held senior positions in the Ministry of Agriculture, Planning Commission, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Labor and Employment and Ministry of Steel.
