Preliminary investigation revealed that the brother of the accused is working as a constable and father in the UP Police as a home guard. He was acting to pay rent in roadways and avoid toll tax.
Crime Branch 30 in-charge Inspector Ravindra’s team has arrested one accused with fake ID of UP Police and 4 fake Aadhar cards. The accused has been identified as Tejpal (25), a resident of Nangla Deepa village in Mathura. His brother is working in the UP Police as a constable and father as a home guard. Police is interrogating him.
Police spokesman Sube Singh said that the accused was arrested from the bypass road with a fake ID card. Fake ID card of UP Police constable and four fake Aadhar cards were recovered from his possession. The name, photo and correct address of the accused were written on the recovered ID but he is not working in the UP Police. In the Aadhar card which has been recovered from the possession of the accused, the accused has put his photo but the name is different in all the four Aadhar cards. The accused was brought to the police station Sector 31 and presented a case against him under the sections of cheating and preparation of forged documents and produced him in the court from where he has been taken on 3 days police remand. Preliminary inquiry revealed that the accused used to keep the fake ID card with him to save bus fare and toll tax. He had come in search of a job in Faridabad. Even before this, a case has been registered in Mathura under the same sections in which he has served the jail term.
