Amritsar Municipal Corporation is preparing to auction 10 parking stands in the city. As of now, out of the parking stands, only 4 stands of Kairo Market, Machhi Mandi, Guru Nanak Bhawan and Old Sabzi Mandi are running. Due to non-bid for parking, the Municipal Corporation was incurring financial loss. At the same time, after this auction, it is estimated that at least Rs 70 lakh will come to the corporation’s wallet.
The Municipal Corporation was facing financial loss due to non-installation of parking stand for a long time. The car parkers were getting worried separately. The Municipal Corporation has now decided to bid for the remaining 10 parking stands apart from Kairo Market, Machhi Mandi, Guru Nanak Bhawan and Old Sabzi Mandi. The corporation has reduced their reserve prices. Concerned parties can file e-auction bids till 5:00 PM on September 1.
