Toll tax for car owners will now be Rs 155 instead of Rs 140. Although there has been no increase in toll fee between Delhi and Meerut (DME), but soon the new rates are likely to be implemented here too, as the proposal has been submitted to the NHI.

Who will have to pay how much toll, read
According to the new rates of NHAI, the toll car from Delhi to Hapur will have to pay Rs 155. The toll on the car has increased by Rs 15. For return journey within 24 hours, instead of Rs 210, you will have to pay Rs 235. The MST of the car will now be made for Rs 5195 instead of Rs 4715. On the other hand, instead of 230 rupees for mini bus, it will cost Rs 250, instead of 480 for bus-truck it will cost Rs 525. The new rates are going to be applicable from 12 noon today i.e. 30th September.

Walk from Delhi or from Ghaziabad, toll will be paid
On this highway, if anyone climbs from Dasna Interchange in Ghaziabad and comes to Hapur, then he will also have to pay Rs 155. The reason for this is that there is no toll plaza on the expressway from Delhi to Ghaziabad, so that it can be known from where the journey of the car has started. The only toll plaza between Delhi-Hapur is at Chhijarsi in Pilkhuwa area. When the car reaches the toll, then the full toll is collected from it.

Manager said – now 100 percent toll will be charged
NHAI’s Chhijarsi toll plaza manager Sheshnath said, “The construction work of railway overbridge was going on near Chipiyana Buzurg located at Lalkuan in Ghaziabad. In such a situation, only 75 percent toll was being collected from the drivers. This construction has now been completed. Therefore, now 100% toll will be collected.
