Delhi government’s corona situation closely monitored, emphasis on precaution dose

Delhi Govt on Coronavirus: There has been a decrease in the cases of Coronavirus in Delhi. Where the positivity rate was 16 to 17 percent two weeks ago, now it has come down to 10 to 12 percent. The special thing is that the virus infection is less in people who have applied the vaccine (booster) dose of Kovid-19 vaccine than other people.

90% of the corona infected patients admitted to the hospital are those who have taken only two doses of the vaccine. At the same time, only 10 percent of the patients got infected with the corona virus after the third dose of the vaccine. In such a situation, to keep Delhiites safe from Corona, the Delhi government has increased the pace of vaccination. In this episode, on Tuesday, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia held a meeting with senior health department officials and district magistrates to expedite the Kovid vaccination.

Meeting held in Delhi regarding Kovid-19 vaccination

Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar, who was present in the meeting regarding Kovid-19, instructed the district magistrates to go to the ground to know the status of vaccination camps to be set up in crowded places like metro stations, markets, malls. Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that the Delhi government is keeping a close watch on the situation in Corona. Already we have completely overhauled our health infrastructure. Along with this, all the hospitals have also been asked to remain alert.

How safe is it to take a booster dose?

Manish Sisodia further said that, however, now people are also seeing negligence and it has been seen that many people are not taking precautionary doses. The number of corona-infected patients admitted to hospitals shows that people who apply precautionary doses are more safe than corona infection. 90 percent of the corona infected patients admitted to the hospital are patients who have taken only two doses of the vaccine. At the same time, only 10 percent of the patients got corona infected after the third dose of the vaccine. It is clear from this that people who apply precautionary doses are more safe than corona infection.

Emphasis on taking precaution dosage

Deputy CM Manish Sisodia appealed to the people to get the booster dose of the vaccine at the earliest, saying that prevention is better than cure. Those who have not yet taken the vaccine or have taken only the first or second dose, all of them should go to their nearest health facility and get the vaccine done as soon as possible. It is necessary to apply a precautionary dose to prevent the spread of corona. Wearing a mask while leaving the house can prevent most cases. Apart from this, there is also an appeal to the senior citizens that if you have not yet applied the second dose or the prescription dose, then definitely get it done.

Instructions to know the status of vaccination camp

Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that even though the situation of corona in Delhi is normal, the Delhi government is working continuously to keep people safe from this disease. Especially people are being made aware to apply booster dose. Strict instructions have been given to all the district magistrates regarding this. Along with this, instructions have been given to visit the ground to know the status of the vaccination camp. He said that vaccination facility is also available in many Mohalla clinics. Also, people can go to their nearest health centers and get the vaccine because vaccine is very helpful in fighting corona.
