Congress’s Himachal assembly election candidates can be announced today. The party has decided the names of candidates for 57 seats, just a formal announcement is yet to be made. Names are to be decided on 11 seats, which are expected to be finalized today. Let us tell you that the tussle in the Congress to decide the ticket of Himachal is going on for the last 44 days. The first meeting of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) to decide the ticket was held in Delhi on 5 September. After this, the Screening Committee and Center Election Committee (CEC) have also brainstormed on the ticket twice. Still the genie of the ticket could not come out, while 2 days ago the party had called till the press conference in Shimla for the announcement of tickets for 57 seats, still the list could not be released.
Enrollment to be filled up to 25
It is noteworthy that the nomination process has started in Himachal from October 17 and nominations are to be filled till 25. Meanwhile, there is one day Diwali and one Sunday holiday. At least 2 days time is required to complete the formalities for filing nominations.
If sources are to be believed, the party is unable to release the list of tickets due to the ruckus over the inside account ticket. Congress state president Pratibha Singh has stuck to Delhi to get tickets to his supporters.

According to sources, the names of Baba Hardeep Singh from Nalagarh, Rakesh Kalia from Gagret, Kuldeep Kumar from Chintpurni, Bumper Thakur from Bilaspur Sadar, Kuldeep Rathore from Theog, Thakur Singh Bharmouri from Bharmour have been agreed today. Their single name has been fixed. One or two of these seats may be reconsidered.
Their tickets are also believed to be confirmed.
