CM Punjab seeks visit report from officials: Asked which villages visited and heard how many problems; Instructions for the visit were given to DC

CM Punjab has sought the report of the visit from the secretary level officers of the government departments of the state. In this report, information has been sought regarding the visits and problems faced by the officers in the district. He has also asked in the report which villages and places the officials have visited in the past and how many problems/problems of the people have been heard at the ground level.
It is worth mentioning that in the past, the CM had ordered all the departmental officers to visit the village and solve the problems of the people. A report in this regard was earlier sought on September 21.

Agriculture Minister took action to suspend
In the past, the Agriculture Minister had suspended the officials of Tarn Taran including Patiala and Sangrur on charges of negligence in the incidents of stubble burning. Now if any kind of negligence is found by the CM also, strict action can be taken against the officials. The Punjab government has made it clear to all the departmental officers that they should go out of their offices and visit the areas under their control and listen to the problems of the people and try to solve them.

CM gave orders on April 4
CM Bhagwant Mann had ordered all the deputy commissioners on April 4 to go to the village at least once a week to listen to the problems of the people. This will help the government to know the real problems of the people.

Helpline number issued for prevention of corruption
For the prevention of corruption, CM Bhagwant Mann had also released a WhatsApp number on 23 March on the sacrifice day of Bhagat Singh. Cases have also been registered on the basis of complaints received on this number and its effect was also seen.
