When children deprived of education were seen in Rajasthan, then thought came to mind.
Ishani Agarwal is originally from Preet Vihar in Delhi. Father is sky. Mother Sirona Agarwal is working as a director in a private school in Aditya World City, Ghaziabad. Ishani tells that once she went on a Rajasthan tour. There he saw children who were deprived of education.
At the same time, Ishani thought that something should be done for the education of these children as well. Ishani started collecting the money received on all the festivals including her birthday, Rakshabandhan, Bhaiya Dooj, Diwali. Ishani also included the money received in pocket money in the same savings. Finally, about three months ago, Ishani collected one and a half lakh rupees.
A book exhibition was organized here on 15th August in collaboration with the district administration. There was a lot of crowd in it.
The procession was lying dilapidated for 15 years
In the same month, Ishani’s mother Sirona Agrawal had gone to Ghaziabad’s Additional District Magistrate (ADM) administration Ritu Suhas in a connection. There he told the ADM that his daughter wanted to spend her pocket money on needy children. What was it then, the ADM gave him the idea of a bookhouse. A procession near a government school in Dasna, Ghaziabad, was lying dilapidated for the last 15 years.
The DM, who reached the bookhouse, praised Ishani’s spirits fiercely.
Beautiful chairs and tables for kids
The ADM gave the idea to Sirauna Agrawal to build a book house in this procession. In about a month of hard work, the dilapidated procession took the form of a bookhouse. Ishani herself helped to renovate it. Beautiful shelves have been made to keep books. At the same time, arrangement of chair and table has been made for the children to sit. Here 35 children can sit and study at a time. The district administration, Ishani and a voluntary organization had the support of giving the procession in the form of a book.
