350 elders of Rewa district left for Tirupati under the pilgrimage scheme. It was informed that the Chief Minister’s public service campaign has started from September 17 across the district. This campaign will continue till October 31. On the first day of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana has been re-launched. In such a situation, 350 elders of Rewa went to Tirupati.

The special train was flagged off by MP Janardan Mishra, former minister and MLA Reeva Rajendra Shukla and Collector Manoj Pushp. All the guests continued well after reaching Rewa railway station. After this, the special train was sent off with band bajas and flowers giving best wishes to the passengers. All the elders were given tea and snacks in the station.

Pilgrims from Rewa, Satna and Jabalpur included
Collector Manoj Pushp told that the pilgrims of Jabalpur have gone to Tirupati along with Rewa and Satna in the pilgrimage train. The pilgrimage train will leave on September 17 and return on September 22. Free food, accommodation, snacks, tea etc. are being provided to the pilgrims during the Yatra.

The pilgrims have expressed their gratitude towards the government for giving the benefit of the pilgrimage scheme. Collector Manoj Pushp, Deputy Collector Sanjeev Pandey, SDM Huzur Anurag Tiwari along with Police Department, Railway Department and family members of a large number of pilgrims were present at the time of departure of the train.
