In Haryana’s Panipat, police has completed the investigation in just five days and presented a challan in the court against the poor man who kidnapped, raped and killed a 6-year-old girl. The incident took place in Sector-29 of Panipat. The police prepared this challan against the rapist and murderer by collecting concrete evidence day and night one by one.
In these five days, the team related to the investigation of the case worked continuously. According to sources, not only in Panipat, perhaps in the whole of Haryana, it has become the fastest case of such case to complete the investigation and present the challan in the court. The challan related to this case was presented in the court on Saturday afternoon.
Ishwar Singh, accused of kidnapping, raping and then killing the girl, is 40 years old. He hails from Pir Chamoli in Uttarakhand and was working at a dhaba near Flora Chowk in Panipat for several months. The police had completed his interrogation in one-day remand after which the accused was sent to judicial custody.
After the incident, Panipat SP Shashank Kumar himself inspected the crime scene and ordered the team to conduct a speedy investigation.
SP said – will try to hang
With the efforts of Panipat SP Shashank Kumar Sawan, the police took the matter to a fast track court. The challan was presented in the court within 5 days of the incident. According to the SP, the police have gathered concrete evidence against the accused in this case before presenting the challan in the court so that he can get strict punishment. By including this case in the list of identified offenses, a request will be made to the court to give death sentence to the accused.
The incident on the morning of August 15
The girl’s father had given a complaint in Chandnibagh police station that he is originally from Shahjahanpur district of UP. He lives with his family in Sector-29 of Panipat for a long time and works in the factory here. His 6-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son went to play in the adjacent park at 9 a.m. on Monday 15th August. After some time the son returned and told that an unknown youth took the sister with him from the park on the pretext of getting biscuits.
When the family and the people living nearby immediately searched for the girl, a few hours later her body was found lying in the bushes near a dirty drain in Sector-25. There was no cloth on the girl’s body. Based on the complaint of the girl’s father, the police registered a case under sections 302, 365, 376, 201 and 6 of the POCSO Act of the IPC.
Realizing the seriousness of the case, the SP immediately formed a special team to investigate the matter. This team arrested the accused Ishwar on the basis of the footage of the CCTV installed in the park and the area around the spot.
