Case of rape and murder of girl:: Teams of cyber experts of the state were engaged in search of the rapist with a reward of two lakhs, many clues were found

SP GRP is constantly meeting with the officers and monitoring the status report every day.

Teams of cyber experts from across the state have also been deployed to arrest the accused in the rape and murder of a 12-year-old girl on the side of the railway line between Mujesar gate and Ballabhgarh railway station on the night of August 11. On the other hand, GRP’s SP Sangeeta Kalia held a meeting with the teams and ordered the early arrest of the accused after investigating from different angles. The SP himself has also inspected the spot thrice.

GRP DSP Sudhir Taneja said that apart from 15 teams at the local level, 7-8 expert cyber teams of the state have also been deployed. He denied that the SP GRP had come to the spot eight days after the incident. He said that till now he has come thrice and has taken feedback from the officials regarding the investigation. Some important clues have been found. About two dozen teams are working on different angles. Hopefully the accused will be caught soon.

Interrogation of more than 50 suspects

GRP sources said that more than 50 suspects have also been questioned in this case so far. Every single house in the colony has been searched. The suspects are also being monitored by the investigation teams. It is said that even this case is being monitored at the DGP level.
