1652 new cases of corona in Delhi, eight deaths, positivity rate close to 10 percent


Delhi Corona Case Update: The cases of Coronavirus are increasing continuously in Delhi. According to the data released at around 9 o’clock in the night, 1652 new cases have come in 24 hours and 8 patients have died due to infection. In the same time, 1 thousand 702 people were recovered. According to the Health Department, the positivity rate is about ten percent (9.92). At present, the number of active patients is 6 thousand 809.

Earlier on Tuesday, there were 917 cases of corona virus infection and three patients died. During this the infection rate was recorded at 19.20 percent. On Monday, 1227 cases were reported in the national capital with an infection rate of 14.57 percent, while eight patients died of infection.

In the national capital Delhi, the cases of admission of corona virus patients are increasing continuously. Let us inform that out of 9,405 beds available for Kovid patients in Delhi, 307 (ie 3.26 percent) were filled on August 1. It increased to 3.75 per cent on August 2 and to four per cent the next day. This figure kept increasing every day and reached 6.24 percent yesterday i.e. on 16th August.

What does the Delhi government have to say on the increasing case of Corona?
Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said on Tuesday that 90 percent of the corona patients admitted in hospitals are those who have taken just two doses of the vaccine. Also, after taking the third dose of Kovid, only ten percent people got corona. From this it would have been clear that those who have taken the precautionary dose are safe from corona infection.
