A young man was shot dead in Azamgarh district late in the night, SP City Shailendra Lal reached the spot as soon as he got information about the incident, while investigating the incident.
A young man was shot dead late night in Towan village of Nizamabad police station area of Azamgarh district. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of several police stations including SP City Shailendra Lal of the district reached the spot and started trying to find out the cause of the incident. Police teams are raiding in search of the accused since late night. Police are interrogating two people by taking them into custody, so that the cause of the incident can be ascertained at the earliest.
The matter of land dispute is coming to the fore
Rahul Yadav (25) son Ganga Yadav, resident of Towan village of Nizamabad police station area of the district, had gone shopping in Saraimir market. When he reached near his village after shopping late in the night, some people shot Rahul near the Kunwar river bridge near the village and fled. Hearing the sound of gunshots, the nearby people reached the spot and saw that the youth was lying in a pool of blood. People informed the ambulance along with the police. By the time the ambulance reached the spot, the young man had died. On getting information about the incident, the family members also reached the spot and there was chaos among the family members. Local people say that the deceased was having a land dispute with his tenants. The police has sent the body for post-mortem only late in the night.
In Azamgarh’s murder case, SP City Shailendra Lal said, a case was registered against three, two in custody.
Uncle filed case against three accused
In this case, the deceased’s uncle Rudal Yadav has filed a case against his three pattidars in Nizamabad police station late at night. Rudal Yadav, uncle of the deceased Rahul Yadav, has filed a case against Subedar Yadav, Hira Yadav and Manoj Yadav. An old family enmity is said to be the reason behind the murder. A named Tahrir has been received against three accused and two people are being interrogated by taking them into custody. Police is investigating this matter. SP City Shailendra Lal says that soon the accused involved in the incident will be arrested and strict action will be taken. Police force has been deployed in the village.
