Youth injured in rapid firing in cable operator’s office died, treatment was going on in hospital


Delhi Crime: Unidentified gunmen shot at a 22-year-old man sitting in his cable TV office in west Delhi’s Ranhola area. He was taken to the hospital, where he died a day later. A police officer gave this information on Tuesday. The footage of the incident has been going viral on social media since Monday.

In the footage, two people can be seen entering the cable operator’s office, where three people were sitting. As soon as he entered the office, he fired several rounds at people trying to escape from the attack. The deceased has been identified as Hitesh. According to the police, on Monday, a PCR call was received on the information about the firing incident near Chanchal Park, after which a police team was sent to the spot. Police found three unidentified bike-borne cable operators located at Som Bazar Road, Chanchal Park.

The officer said that two persons entered the office and one of them fired three rounds at Hitesh. Hitesh was seriously injured due to the bullet. After this, the victim was admitted to the hospital in a hurry. Please tell that those people came out of the office and all three fired fiercely at the glass panes of the office and escaped from the scene.

Police is raiding
The officer said that Hitesh was injured by two bullets. He was taken to Rathi Hospital. A total of 13 empty cartridges were found outside the office, while three empty cartridges and some pieces of glass were found inside the office. The official said the motive behind the attack is being ascertained and separate teams have been formed to nab the accused.
