World’s Shortest Man: Afshin Ismail of Iran is the shortest man in the world. His height has been measured by the officials of Guinness World Records. Afshin’s height is 65.24 cm (2 ft 1.6 in). Afshin Ismail Ghaderzadeh is 20 years old. Afshin Ismail Ghaderzadeh lives in a small village in Azerbaijan.
He was brought to Dubai to include his name in the world record. According to the officials of Guinness World Records, he is 7 cm i.e. 2.7 inches shorter than the person with the previous record. This record was earlier held by Edward Nino Hernandez of Colombia. His age was 36 years.
Afshin’s life full of difficulties
Afshin’s parents had lost their two children before his birth. Afshin is their only child. Afshin was born with a weight of 700 grams i.e. 1.5 pounds. In which there was a genetic disorder, which was a type of early dwarfism. Afshin struggles to use the mobile phone as it becomes too heavy for him.

Afshin said that she has to struggle a lot to find clothes that fit her. He can wear only those clothes which fit a three year old child. But the design of those clothes no longer suits their age.
