Even in Canada, passengers coming from China will be compulsorily tested for corona. According to Canada-based television network CTV, the Canadian government has made the COVID-19 test mandatory for travelers arriving from China, Hong Kong and Macau. This decision has been taken in view of the deteriorating situation in China.
The rule will be applicable from January 5
According to the new guideline from the Government of Canada, from January 5, passengers coming from China, Hong Kong or Macau will have to present a COVID-19 negative test report upon arrival in Canada. With the negative corona report, the passengers will be boarded in the plane. Travelers at Canadian airports will also be asked if they have traveled to China, Hong Kong or Macau in the last 10 days. It will be mandatory for the passengers coming from these places to stay in Quarantine.

Britain also imposed restrictions
If passengers are found to be corona infected, the officials of the Canadian Border Services Agency will provide them with health information. This rule of corona test applies only to air passengers, will not apply to those coming by road. Earlier on Thursday (December 29), Britain had announced that passengers arriving from China are required to take the Kovid-19 pre-departure test. The UK government said in a statement, “From 5 January people coming to England from China will first be required to undergo the COVID-19 test.”
French government also made rules
Reuters reported that France has also made Covid test results mandatory for travelers from China 48 hours before departure. Citing the French Ministries of Health and Transport, Reuters reported that all flights arriving from China, including stopovers, must have a corona test and passengers must wear masks.
