World class level: Now Bhopal station will also become world class, the responsibility of planning has been entrusted to the firm of Lucknow

After Rani Kamalapati, now Bhopal railway station will also be made of world class level. When this happens, passengers will get the benefit of state-of-the-art facilities here. For this, the Railways has decided to make an Integrated Action Plan (IAP). This responsibility has been entrusted to a private consultancy firm in Lucknow. This firm will give its suggestions to the Railways keeping in mind the upcoming requirements, number of trains and passengers.

On the other hand, DRM Saurabh Bandopadhyay told that about Rs 46 lakh will be given to the firm making IAP for Bhopal station. These consultancy firms will give their suggestions in view of the physical, practical, future demand of Bhopal railway station, requirements to be created when the number of trains increase, number of passengers. In addition, it will tell where the work of concourse, budget hotel, food plaza and zone, escalator-lift etc. should be done. At present, the work of new building towards platform number-1 is in the final stage. In this, pictures of historical buildings like Sanchi, Udayagiri, Bhojpur Shiv Mandir, Bada Talab, Tajul Masjid are being made through digital graphics.
