Woman returning home from office murdered in Delhi: miscreants shot her in the stomach, died in hospital

In Delhi, two miscreants shot dead a woman in the middle of the road.

A 32-year-old woman was shot dead on Monday in Delhi’s Paschim Vihar. The incident took place when the woman was returning home from office. The miscreants stopped him on the road and shot him. People around took him to the hospital, where he died. Police is trying to nab the accused by examining the CCTV footage.

Police said that the deceased has been identified as Jyoti. She used to work in the courier department of Flipkart. She was returning home from office at around 7.30 pm on Monday evening. The woman was riding a scooty. Meanwhile, two people shot him in the stomach. After carrying out the incident, the attackers fled from the spot with the scooty of the woman.

Police suspect, the accused already knew the woman
Neighbors rushed the injured woman to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead. An officer related to the investigation said- The accused knew the woman, but there was a rift between them for the last few weeks. We suspect that he attacked the woman when she did not speak to him. We are questioning the woman’s family regarding the accused.

Raids continue to nab the accused
According to media reports, the victim’s husband deals in plastic-scrap. The relatives say that they are not aware of any enmity or dispute. The victim’s father has demanded justice for the daughter. He says that the killers of the daughter should be arrested as soon as possible. Police say raids are on to nab the accused. Along with this, the CCTV footage of the area is also being examined.
