After the resignation of both these officers, now Shivnath Thukral has now been appointed as the director of all platforms of Meta including WhatsApp India. Prior to this, he was the head of the Public Policy Department of WhatsApp India. Recently, Meta, the payment company of WhatsApp and Facebook, has recently fired 11,000 of its employees. At the same time, Ajit Mohan, the India head of Meta India, the parent company of the social media platform Facebook, had announced his resignation earlier this month.

Facebook India head also resigned recently
Earlier, on November 3, 2022, Ajit Mohan, the India head of Facebook’s parent company Meta India, had also resigned from his post. According to media reports, after this resignation, he is going to join the social media platform Snapchat. Mohan will serve as the head of Asia-Pacific.
