What missiles does North Korea have that can destroy America in an instant?

North Korea, a country situated in the north of the Korean Peninsula in East Asia, which is spread over just 120,540 square km. Its threat is such that even America, the world’s most powerful country, is in awe of it. Western countries may put a million restrictions on it, but dictator King Jong Un doesn’t care about them, he is just careless and continues to launch his missiles continuously.

If even a small missile is launched in Pyongyang, the world’s heartbeat stops. Its threat in the whole world is such that it becomes media headlines in a moment. In the current situation, Japan is worried and there is a reason for this. North Korea has launched Intercontinental Ballistic Missile ie ICBM and it has the power to destroy America.

America has strongly condemned this missile launch. At the same time, South Korea, the neighboring country of this proud country, has advocated taking drastic destructive steps against North Korea to stop it. Now the concern is that the arrogant and arbitrary leader Kim does not have only this dangerous missile, he has a whole stock of missiles. Today let’s talk about what would be the condition of the world if crazed Kim Jong Un used these dangerous destructive weapons.

Japan is horrified and the US is in terror

Japan’s Defense Minister says that North Korea has launched an intercontinental ballistic missile, whose firepower is up to America’s mainland. The missile fell into the sea about 210 km west of Hokkaido, Japan’s second largest island. On Thursday, November 17, North Korean Foreign Minister Cho Son Hui warned of dire consequences for any further increase in US troop presence in the region.

It is clear from this that North Korea is not in the mood to spare anyone. Actually on this day this country also launched a short range ballistic missile. North Korea has fired more than 50 missiles in the last two months.  This means that this country has been firing one missile every single day in 60 days.

Most of these missiles fired in the past months are of short range firepower, but the launch of long range ICBM is a rare event. These pose a direct threat to America, because these missiles can be placed in the American mainland.  Designed to carry nuclear weapons anywhere.

Seoul’s military chiefs said the latest intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) was fired from near Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, at 10:15 local time (02:15 GMT). South Korea’s military said it reached an altitude of 6,100 km on a lofted trajectory and covered a distance of 1,000 km at a speed of Mach 22.

A lofted trajectory means the missile flies very high into space but hits a shorter distance than if fired on a normal trajectory, but Japan’s Defense Minister Yasukazu Hamada said the missile would be too short to reach the US. Adequate range was taken. like a missile under the action of given forces  the flight or course of movement of an object  called the trajectory.

Defense Minister Yasukazu Hamada said, “Based on calculations taking into account the trajectory this time North Korea’s ballistic missile could have a range of 15,000 km, depending on the weight of its warhead, And if so, it means that the mainland of America is within its JD."  Kishida also told reporters in Thailand, "We have told (Pyongyang) that we cannot tolerate such actions at all."

America is very worried about this. On Sunday, November 13, there was a meeting between South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yol, US President Joe Biden and Japanese PM Fumio Kishida in Cambodia. During this, the three countries agreed to increase their military cooperation. On Friday 18th November only  US National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said Biden informed that the US would consult with partners on the matter.

North Korea is making dangerous missile Hwasong-17

North Korea’s  missile launching pattern in the past months is based on retaliation for US military activity around the Korean Peninsula. In October, North Korea fired a ballistic missile over Japan. He did this for the first time in 5 years.  North Korea is currently developing a  new type of long-range missile, the Hwasong-17.

It is a larger missile than the first successfully tested ICBM, and experts believe it may be capable of carrying multiple warheads, making it difficult to defend. It is believed that several attempts to launch North Korea’s Hwasong-17 have failed. Earlier this month, North Korea launched an ICBM, according to South Korea’s military, but it failed mid-flight.

Yang Yuk, a military expert at the Asan Institute, says that even if North Korea successfully launches the Hwasong-17, the threat will not increase much. They say it has to  prove it has mastered the technology to be able to carry small enough nuclear warheads on an ICBM.

Pyongyang has conducted 6 nuclear tests between 2006 and 2017 and has completed preparations for the 7th test. Experts believe that he can use this opportunity to test a compact nuclear device. This country engaged in launching missiles  is also working to improve its short-range missiles and conventional military capabilities.
