Coronavirus In India: The Government of India is alert on the increasing corona cases in many countries including China, America and Japan. Omicron’s sub-variant BF.7, responsible for most of the Kovid-19 cases in China, has also reported four cases in India.
In view of this, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya held a meeting on Wednesday (December 21). At the same time, PM Narendra Modi also held a high level meeting on Thursday (December 22). State governments have also started preparations in view of the increasing threat of Corona. Let us know in 10 points which state has made what preparations.
1- After a meeting chaired by Karnataka Chief Minister Basavasraj Bommai on the subject of Kovid-19 on Thursday (December 22), Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar said that the government has also decided to make it mandatory to wear masks in closed places and AC rooms. He told that two percent of the international passengers coming to the state will be randomly tested until no other instructions come from the Center.
2- Vigilance has been increased in the Taj Mahal located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh and the Health Department has started investigating foreign tourists keeping a special eye on them.

He informed that 2500 tests are being done and if there is an increase in the Kovid case, then the number of tests can be increased to one lakh.

6- The Maharashtra Health Department has also asked the district administration and municipal corporation to increase the number of corona tests.
7- Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann held a meeting with the officials of the State Health Department on Thursday to discuss the related situation in view of increasing cases of corona virus infection in some countries. After the meeting, the Health Minister said, Chetan Singh Jodamajra said that there are only nine active corona cases in 16 districts, but we are fully prepared.
8- The Kerala government issued a general alert but said that there is nothing to worry about.
9- PM Narendra Modi During the high-level meeting on Thursday, he stressed the need for stronger surveillance with focus on genome sequencing, as well as increased testing. He advised to follow Covid-appropriate behaviour, including wearing a mask.
10- In view of the increasing cases of corona in China, Japan, South Korea, France and America, the central government and the state government have become active. In this connection, the Modi government and the state government have made these preparations.
