A devotee drowned in Yamuna river in Chitrakoot on Tuesday. Divers are looking for him. After 24 hours, the divers have not been successful yet. Along with the divers, the NDRF team is also engaged in the search. Please tell that the young man was going to visit Maihar Devi with his uncle. Meanwhile, both of them started bathing at Tulsi Ghat, when the young man was swept away in the strong current. Hearing the uncle’s voice, the divers searched for the young man, but he could not be found. Local people informed the matter to the police. Police are searching for the youth with the help of divers.

Lay stopped for darshan of Hanumanji
The name of the drowning youth is Anil Kumar. He is a resident of Piparkundi in Kaushambi. The youth’s uncle Pankaj told that the lay stopped to see Hanumanji. Went to take bath in Yamuna river before darshan. Then Pankaj got swept away in the strong current. Rajapur Deputy District Magistrate Pramod Kumar Jha said that the search is on for the youth. He said that due to the strong current in the Yamuna river, there is a lot of difficulty in the search. Divers and NDRF team are searching for 10 km ahead of the submerged place.
