Police is investigating the properties of Vivekananda Dobriyal, former private secretary of the Revenue Council President and his two sons and wife. The police had sought details of properties registered in their Lucknow limits from the Municipal Corporation and Lucknow Development Authority. Information was sought from all the eight zonal officers of the Municipal Corporation about the properties recorded in the records of the Municipal Corporation in the names of Vivekananda Dobriyal, his wife Santosh, sons Sameer and Saral. This information was sought by Assistant Commissioner of Police Yogesh Kumar.

Dobriyal got property worth 20 crores

ACP Kaiserbagh Yogesh Kumar said that Dobriyal’s properties worth more than Rs 20 crore have been found in Lucknow and Noida. Apart from this, many properties have also been discovered. His close friends were interrogated by taking him into custody in Delhi. Even at that time, many properties of Dobriyal were known to be in the name of relatives. An investigation is going on about this.

A case was registered against Vivekananda Dabriyal under sections 120B, 384, 420,465,405, 471 of IPC, besides PC Act 7, 13(1) (b) at Kaiserbagh police station, which is being investigated by Assistant Commissioner of Police Yogesh Kumar. In this, Vivekananda has been accused of fraudulently earning money while in service in the Revenue Council and after retirement. The investigating officer, Assistant Commissioner of Police, had sought details of the plot, land, building and other immovable property registered in Lucknow in the name of Vivekanand Dobriyal, his wife Santosh, sons Sameer and Saral from Lucknow Development Authority, Municipal Corporation.
