In Baghpat, the villagers reached the SP office demanding action against the truck driver and the truck owner. The villagers have accused the Baraut police of not taking action. A month ago, two youths were hit by a truck driver, in which both the youths were seriously injured, who later died during treatment.

Shokeen and other villagers, who reached the office of the Superintendent of Police, Baghpat, told that about a month ago, two youths of the village had left Baraut on a bike for their village Johri. Sameer and Samar’s sons were going from Zakir Baraut to their village Johri when a truck coming from the wrong side hit them in which both the youths were seriously injured.

The injured were admitted to a private hospital, where they were referred to Meerut hospital after seeing their condition critical. Both the youths died during treatment there. Based on the complaint of the victim’s relatives, the Baraut police registered a case, but even after a month, no action was taken against the truck driver and the truck owner.

SP gave assurance
The victims reached the village SP office and demanded action against the accused truck driver and truck owner. The police has been accused that the Baraut Kotwali police is not taking any action in this matter for 1 month, the Superintendent of Police has assured action in the matter.
