Village submerged in darkness for 3 days!

There has been darkness in Kosamdhana village under Umranala Electricity Distribution Center for three days. Let us tell here that due to the outstanding amount of electricity bill of 10 houses, the electricity of the entire village has been cut. Due to which the life of the villagers has become miserable.

Villagers including Ramkishan Silu, Nehru Silu, Devendra Silu, Raja Silu, residents of Kosamdhana village, 8 km from Sarangbihari Electricity Sub Station, told that 40 more houses in their small tribal village have electricity connection.

Out of these, there are consumers of 10 households who have not deposited the electricity bill amount. Due to which the electricity of the entire village has been cut by the Electricity Department. There is darkness in the village for three days, yet the MPEB officer is not sleeping.

On one hand, at present, the children’s quarterly examinations are also going on, due to which the children are facing a lot of trouble. Here the concerned power department official was contacted but his phone was said to be outside the coverage area.

In this regard, Vinod, a villager living in Kosam Dhana, told that the officials of the Electricity Department should have cut the connections of the houses of the consumers who did not pay the electricity bill and not the electricity of the entire village. Somebody has been doing it here and someone has been doing it.
