A video of a woman falling from the roof has surfaced in Gwalior. The woman had committed suicide by jumping off the terrace after being fed up with the harassment of her in-laws. They were asking to bring two lakh rupees in dowry. They used to beat him when he refused. The incident took place on August 19 in Hazira’s Char Shahar Ka Naka, the video of which has now surfaced. Seeing the CCTV footage, the police registered a case against the accused husband and in-laws on Sunday evening. The family members are still absconding.

25-year-old Seema daughter Kadore Singh Bhadauria, a resident of Umri, Bhind, was married in January 2020 to Ankit alias Anirudh Singh Tomar, a resident of Naka of Hazira Char city. As per the demand of Anirudh’s family, Seema’s father left no stone unturned in the marriage. After few months of marriage the attitude of husband and in-laws started changing.
He started harassing Seema to get two lakh rupees in dowry and a bike. When he refused to bring dowry from the maternal home, he started beating. These people took him hostage and started beating him. Tired of the daily harassment, Seema committed suicide by jumping from a two-storeyed house on August 19. After investigation, the police have registered a case of dowry act and culpable homicide against husband Ankit alias Anirudh Tomar, mother-in-law Sunita, father-in-law Srinivas and brother-in-law Ashu Tomar.

The police was investigating the matter, on Sunday they got this CCTV footage. In the footage, the woman is seen falling down from two floors. People in critical condition took him to the hospital, where the doctor declared him brought dead. In the footage, the woman is seen falling, but she jumped or was thrown from above. An investigation is being done regarding this.

CSP Ravi Bhadauria says that on August 19, a woman had died under suspicious circumstances. The CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, after which the police have registered a case against the husband and in-laws of the deceased.
