Attack On Imran Khan: Protests have erupted in several cities across the country after former Prime Minister Imran Khan and other PTI leaders were injured in firing during an independence rally in Gujranwala, Pakistan on Thursday. In all cities including Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, people are protesting against the government by taking to the streets. Along with this there has also been arson and sabotage.
Activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have started a demonstration against the Pakistani army against the attack on Imran. PTI General Secretary Asad Umar said that Imran Khan has blamed three people behind his assassination attempt. In this sudden attack on Thursday, many PTI leaders including Imran Khan have been shot, one person has also died. Imran and other PTI leaders were injured in firing by a man near PTI’s reception camp at Allah Wala Chowk during the party’s long march, reports ARY News. Imran was immediately surrounded by security forces and taken from there to the hospital amidst tight security. Imran Khan He has been shot in the leg and his treatment is going on. However, his condition is said to be stable.
