Muzaffarnagar news: Kotwali Nagar police station of Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh has arrested a woman and her husband in a honey trap case. They used to trap men and blackmail them. An official gave this information on Friday. The accused were identified as Shanu and Afsana alias Pinky. The accused were arrested from Wahlna village in Muzaffarnagar.
Kotwali Nagar police station in-charge (SHO) Mahavir Chauhan said that Nikhil, a resident of village Krishnapuri, had filed a complaint on February 15 alleging that his uncle Arvind Kumar called him at home and told that some people had kept him hostage. Those people are demanding 5 lakhs. After registering a case in Kotwali Nagar police station, the investigation of the case started. During the investigation, Sanu and Afsana alias Pinky were arrested by the police on 16 February.

On February 16, the police had received information that both the husband and wife were living in a house in Wahlna village of Muzaffarnagar. After this, the police team reached the spot and arrested the accused couple and recovered the victim Arvind safely. During interrogation, the accused confessed that she used to talk to Arvind on the phone posing as Pinky. He called him on 14 February near Hanuman Mandir Gandhi Colony.
From where she was taken to the Nawab’s house in Nasirpur. He cheated and cheated her in an obscene act, while the woman’s husband Shanu made the video. Afsana told that after making an obscene video, she was demanded Rs 5 lakh, threatening to make it viral on social media. The SHO said that we produced both of them in the court on Thursday, from where they were sent to judicial custody.
