Recently, due to heavy rains in Guna district, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia reached Rashid Colony to meet people affected by animal loss. He assured all assistance and compensation amount to the families of the victims. He said that no stone would be left unturned in providing all kind of assistance to the affected families at the earliest. He said that aerial survey of Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Shivpuri and Guna was also done. Efforts will be made that not a single victim should be spared from the relief.

He said that 300 houses have been damaged in the urban area. We have made a policy in 4 parts for relief work. In the first phase, food grains should be provided to the affected families at the earliest. In the second phase, the damage caused in the crop, barn will be surveyed and sent to the Ministry of Revenue. The compensation amount received should be distributed through Tehsildar, Patwari. The public list of the beneficiary victims will be pasted at the village chaupal. So that there is transparency in the distribution amount work.

In the third phase, repair works of infrastructure like electricity, water, roads, etc. should be done. Along with this, health camps should be organized through the district administration in urban and rural areas. In the fourth phase, effective steps should be taken so that it does not recur in future. In such villages, through the administration, through the administration, the work of displacement should be done on the consent of the villagers.

The Union Minister reached Rashid Colony in Guna where he met the flood victims and assured them that whatever damage has been caused by floods, excessive rains, will be fully compensated as per rules. Central Scindia also gave instructions-

– To prepare such action plans for such colonies of the whole city in which flood-like conditions are created in the event of excessive rainfall so that they are not affected by floods in the coming years.

CMO Guna was directed to complete the work in the next 11 months by planning for deepening, widening etc. of drains.

Visiting and contacting the houses of flood affected people for 10 consecutive days for their all possible help.

To ensure that all 102 affected villages of the district and 300-400 affected households of the city take action for health related check-up and treatment activities, distribution/spraying of medicines etc. Instructions were given to complete all these works within the time limit.
